The Auckland Transition Agency (ATA) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for the provision of recruitment agency services for the recruitment of the interim chief executive of the Auckland Council.

By law, the interim chief executive will be appointed for a term ending no later than 29 June 2012. The new council comes into force on 1 November 2010.

ATA Executive Chairman Mark Ford said: “It is important we begin the process now so appropriate time can be given to finding and recruiting the best candidate for the job.”
